Welcome to LVKids

Our Rhythms

A different approach to kid’s ministry.

As they become adults, a large number of church attending kids walk away from the church. At LakeView we want to help kids build a foundation of faith that will not fall when faced with questions and issues of the culture.

LVKids Sundays

On LVKids Sundays, at our 10 am service, kids gather downstairs in their classrooms for some opening fun. K-5th grade then join for Large group worship and a lesson. Then move back into our small groups to dig in deeper. We currently using The Biggest Story Curriculum to walk through the Bible along side the sermon series.

Family Worship Sundays

It is important for kids to see the older Christians in their life following after the Lord. Every other Sunday all generations worship together and include elements that are family-friendly.

What is the difference between dedication and baptism?

A child is a God-given trust (Psalm 127:3). Child dedication is a Sunday morning ceremony that signifies your commitment to uphold that trust. This special service permits parents to publicly present their children to God and to make a commitment to bring their children up in a Christ-centered home.

Child dedication is different from infant baptism or christening. While these rites are significant for a variety of faiths, it is the practice of LakeView Church to dedicate children. We believe that all infants are destined for heaven should they die before they are old enough to understand and enter into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

We believe that baptism is a public statement of faith that can be made only by someone who has made the decision to have a personal faith in Jesus Christ. Older children, however, can make that personal decision. Baptism is reserved for those who have reached an age of understanding and have placed a personal faith in Christ as their Savior.
